A little explanation for those not from our fair city…
The late Bill Bonds was arguably the most widely-known and respected journalist in Detroit. If you grew up anywhen from the 1970s to the 2000s, you know his face and voice. He remains a Detroit icon, having played himself in both 1971's Planet of the Apes and 1987's Robocop. "Count Bondsula" is our way of paying homage to the veteran journalist's memory from the Detroit Goth community, blending his image with that of Bela Lugosi's Dracula.
